Course Description

The purpose of this study is to help educators strengthen their influence by mastering the principles of effective communication. As professionals who engage daily with students, parents, colleagues, and community stakeholders, educators must consistently refine how they deliver their messages. Communication is not just a tool—it is a leadership skill that can be developed and improved with intention.

This study explores how to apply timeless communication principles to make every message more impactful, whether speaking one-on-one or addressing a group. Participants will gain practical insight into the key elements that influence how messages are received, understood, and remembered, while learning strategies to strengthen their communication effectiveness in a variety of leadership situations.

Through actionable lessons and real-world application, participants will develop the skills to build stronger relationships, communicate with greater clarity and confidence, and inspire meaningful action through the spoken word. Educators who complete this course will be equipped to craft messages that resonate, motivate, and drive results, ultimately increasing their effectiveness as leaders in any educational setting.

I am enjoying the course. One suggestion is to offer the paper copy of the book in the registration. I really like the relaxed and nonjudgmental attitude during discussions. Mrs. Tasha, your caring and acceptance is very obvious in your presentations.

This course was extremely helpful for me as a current teacher, aspiring to become an instructional coach. I was pushed outside of my comfort zone, which I did not like at the beginning. Once I saw the possibilities and learning experiences I gained from being pushed into uncomfortable positions, I knew this was something that had to occur. Tasha was great in making sure everyone's voice was heard in our discussions. I learned a lot through reading the book, but much more with the weekly meetings. I think this class would be very beneficial for any leader, or aspiring leader, to participate in because there are so many shifts that need to be made for productive and effective leadership to occur.
