How to Develop Self-Aware Leadership for Educators
Reinvent your leadership and multiply your impact. Discover how greater self-awareness, continuous growth, and intentional influence can help you develop stronger people, teams, and organizations.
Educators will engage in a three-fold transformation process designed to strengthen their leadership impact at every level. Participants will learn how to reinvent themselves by developing new leadership skills and applying them in ways that turn creative thinking into practical, sustainable solutions. They will also discover how to reinvent others by fostering meaningful collaboration and engagement that strengthens students, faculty, families, and community stakeholders while expanding their own leadership influence.
The course also explores how leaders can reinvent schools and districts by viewing decisions, programs, and systems through a people-centered leadership lens. Participants will confront one of the greatest barriers to growth: a lack of self-awareness. Through intentional reflection, they will examine their habits, assumptions, and leadership approaches to lead with greater clarity, humility, and purpose.
Across eight engaging sessions, participants will explore essential leadership practices that drive lasting impact. Topics include leading from personal strengths, prioritizing team success, listening with intention, responding to criticism with grace, managing priorities rather than people, embracing lifelong learning, measuring leadership through the success of others, and choosing the long-term path to greater influence. This course is ideal for educational leaders who are committed to continuous growth and creating meaningful impact within their schools, districts, and communities.

Read MoreThis course was extremely helpful for me as a current teacher, aspiring to become an instructional coach. I was pushed outside of my comfort zone, which I did not like at the beginning. Once I saw the possibilities and learning experiences I gained from being pushed into uncomfortable positions, I knew this was something that had to occur. Tasha was great in making sure everyone's voice was heard in our discussions. I learned a lot through reading the book, but much more with the weekly meetings. I think this class would be very beneficial for any leader, or aspiring leader, to participate in because there are so many shifts that need to be made for productive and effective leadership to occur.
